We are assisting our Client in the recruiting and hiring of experienced Metal Fabricators and some Fitters/Welders. This is a full time opportunity and your chance to join the team on site in a shop environment.

The schedule:

2 shifts:

Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Monday to Thursday 4:00pm -2:30am

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a steel fabrication shop environment.
• Familiarity of equipment operations such as brake press, rolls, iron workers, and shears.
• Possession of CWB ticket considered an asset.
• Completion of a 2 year Metal Fabrication program at a recognized institution is considered an asset or a red seal welder/fitter ticket

The ideal candidate:

• Reliable - show up on time for all shifts
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
