Inventory Control and Forecasting Analyst - Full Time Permanent

 JobDescription:

 

The primary role ofthe Inventory and Forecasting Analyst is to manage and be accountable forinventory efficiency within the business. This means ensuring inventory needsare met for internal and external customers such as Service, Production,Aftermarket. Inventory turn ratios are monitored and kept with agreed limits.

Responsibility & Work Activities:

  • Proven     ability to establish, implement, and maintain strategies that support     inventory turns.
  • Forecasting     demand and supply to meet demand

·      Managestock ROPS, turns, fill reports, (Just in Time) JIT delivery, OSMI, cash flow.

·      Osmi....identifyslow moving critical vs obsolete and review items for return, scrap, orpotential sale.

·      Inputtingof prod inventory and setting proper lead times, stocking levels, costing, etc.(plan for every part)

·      Reviewaftermarket inventory and adjust ROPs accordingly 

·      Workin very close conjunction with purchasing department.

·      Manageconsignment inventory contracts.

·      Overseeinventory transfers between locations (am/prod/loc 4)

·      Analyse/manageinventory management systems to support business.

·      Developand implement inventory control systems and practices.

·      Analysesupply chain data -Prepare reports/recommendations for Global Supply Chainmanager.

·      Dailywork order issuance for internal pick/assembly etc.

·      Workingknowledge of contract management.

·      GoodIT acumen is an added advantage.

·      Abilityto lift 15lbs if needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5     years of Inventory Management and forecasting experience in a     manufacturing environment
  • Supply     chain program of 2 years with focus on Inventory and forecasting.
  • Intermediate     or advanced Excel skills.
  • Thorough knowledge     of inventory management processors and systems
  • Excellent     knowledge of forecasting techniques
  • Experience     with Global Shop (ERP System)

  • Demonstrated     ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify,     and address problems, and meet deadlines in a cross functional team environment.    
  • . Reporting     directly to the Supply Manager.
