The Opportunity:

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer for our client that specializes in Mining and Industrial engineering projects to work in their Timmins location.  This role requires being part of the all-encompassing discipline that is electrical engineering including working with electrical distribution, automation, processes or advanced building systems, and maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal applicant will be a resourceful, clever, and enthusiastic Professional Electrical Engineer with at least five years of experience in designing electrical systems for the industrial or mining sector.

 

This role will include:

 

• Designing, conducting internal coordination, project management, and contract administration during construction of industrial/mining type projects, from concept through to completion.
• Leveraging your specialized electrical engineering experience in industrial infrastructure/processes and/or mining markets.
• Assisting with the management of workload of technicians and designers to ensure that project deadlines are achieved and final deliverables align with client expectations.
• Participating in the preparation of proposals and the development of estimates for engineering services.
• Applying engineering fundamentals, including the application and verification of related software tools.
• Preparing accurate, clearly written, and well-organized technical reports.
• Mentoring junior engineers, engineering graduates, and technologists.
• Coordinating with other engineering discipline and architects on multidisciplinary projects.
