Missing Link Search payroll service allows clients to place their selected employees
(either new hires, retirees, contractors or existing employees) on Missing Link Search
payroll.

Clients have utilized this service in order to meet business goals; sometimes to reduce the paperwork and manpower involved in setting up a new hire or seasonal hires. Other times, it is to reduce the workload of internal payroll departments or eliminate the need for a payroll department altogether.

The client benefits in that they never have to write employee checks; Missing Link Search absorbs all associated employee costs including government burdens (Employer EI and CPP contributions), WSIB premiums, employer vacation pay contributions, as well as all associated payroll functions and costs (automatic deposits, pay stubs,T4s, ROEs, etc.).

Missing Link Search pays employees through direct deposit on a weekly basis, something that many firms do not offer. Employee group benefits, commissions, bonuses, or union dues can also be processed through Missing Link Search, if desired by the client.

Generally, this service is used to fill skilled trade and technician positions for our clients. Clients provide Missing Link Search with a general job description including certification and experience, proposed salary, as well as any other specific requirements (occasionally companies needing specialized hardtofind people).

Missing Link Search then proceeds to source, solicit, and recruit potential candidates. Based on the client’s preference, Missing Link Search will then provide a short list of the most suitable candidates or will select a candidate on behalf of the client. Once selected, the employee remains an employee of Missing Link Search during the predetermined probationary period. During this time, Missing Link Search absorbs all associated employee costs, including government burdens.

Upon completion of their probationary period, an associate is either transferred onto the client’s payroll (at no additional cost), or a client may choose to keep an associate on Missing Link Search payroll in order to reduce the demands placed on their internal payroll department.
